Tata Group CEO Ratan Tata has passed away

India’s Tata Group leader Ratan Tata has died. He breathed his last on Wednesday (October 9) night.

Earlier it was known that Ratan Tata went to the hospital for a health checkup. But on Wednesday afternoon, several Indian media claimed that Ratan Tata’s physical condition is critical. It was initially heard that he was admitted to the hospital due to a sudden drop in blood pressure.

It is known that Ratan Tata was 86 years old. He was ill for some time. That is why he had to have regular checkups.

Ratan Tata was born on December 28, 1937 in a Persian family in Mumbai. Baba Noval Tata was born in Surat, Gujarat. He was later adopted by the Tata family. Ratan Tata’s mother Suni Tata is again directly part of Jamshedji Tata’s family. Hormsji Tata, Ratan Tata’s grandfather, is a member of that family by birth. When Ratan Tata was 10 years old, his parents separated. Ratan Tata also has a brother, Jimmy Tata. Step brother Noel Tata. Novel Tata married Simone Tata for the second time. Noel is their child.

Ratan Tata went to study at Riverdale Country School in New York via Mumbai, Shimla. In 1959, he was admitted to Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. In the seventies, Ratan Tata became the manager of the Tata Group. When JRD Tata stepped down in 1991, Ratan declared Tata his successor. At first there was objection to him within the group. But his acceptance increases with time.

In the 21 years that Ratan Tata was in charge of the Tata Group, the group’s income increased 40 times, profits increased 50 times. Ratan Tatai gave the dream of four wheels to the middle class. Nano factory was established at Singur in West Bengal. However, the factory had to be shifted to Gujarat due to political tension.

Ratan Tata left the executive power of the Tata Group in 2012 at the age of 75. A family relative Cyrus Mistry was brought to that place. But in 2016, Cyrus was removed as the chairman of Tata Sons. Ratan Tata returned to interim duty. Then in 2017, Natarajan Chandrasekaran was announced as the interim chairman. With age, Ratan Tata became more involved in social service work.

Ratan Tata was awarded ‘Padma Bhushan’ in 2000. Received ‘Padma Vibhushan Honor’ in 2008. Government of Maharashtra, Assam also honored him. Also honored by the University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, IIT Bombay, Yale University, Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III.

Ratan Tata was never married. However, in an interview in 2011, he admitted that love had come into his life. He said that even though he was on the verge of marriage four times, in the end no relationship came to fruition.
